New map. New fashion.Welcome to Fortnite Reload, a new action-packed Battle Royale mode with historic weapons, locations, and atmosphere for you and your squad! The Fortnite Recharge launch will take place on Saturday, June 22, shortly after 8 p.m. (CEST). 


As long as a member of a platoon is still alive, their teammates can return to Fortnite Recharge. Recharge is a 40-player experience that takes place on a smaller map where many locations will be familiar, like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. If your entire team is eliminated, you're lost! Whether you are in Battle Royale or Zero Build mode, the last section alive wins the game.



PREPARE TO RETURN

In this experience where you can choose whether or not to fill your section, aggression is perhaps the key when you know that automatic recovery awaits you. And if you're the last member of your team alive, it's best to lay low and keep your eyes peeled since the future of your section depends on your survival! This is how it works:

  • When a player is eliminated, their individual recovery countdown begins. The player is restored automatically at the end of the countdown!

  • The recovery timer is 30s at the start of the game and can last up to 40s later in the game.

  • Team members still in play can reduce this recovery time by 2s by knocking out an opponent, by 4s by eliminating one, and by 10s by getting rid of an opposing section.

  • When a player is knocked out, they can decide to start the recovery countdown immediately instead of waiting to be revived.

  • At the end of the game, recoveries are disabled, meaning eliminated team members cannot return.

LOOT WE REMEMBER

The rocket launcher, single-shot sniper rifle, lever-action shotgun, and tactical shotgun are some of the weapons you can find in Reload.


This rather small island is easy to explore on foot, so there are no vehicles to help you get around. On the other hand, you will find a selection of reintroduced loot. Here's a look at some of the items you'll be able to get in Recharge when it releases:

  • Revolver
  • Tactic shotgun
  • Lever Action Shotgun
  • Original Heavy Shotgun
  • Pistolet-mitrailleur tactique
  • Fusil d'infanterie
  • Fusil d'assaut lourd
  • Fusil de sniper au coup par coup
  • Lance-roquettes
  • Cramponneur

Tilted Towers is located in the middle of the island since it is the perfect location for open battles.


Victory Crowns can be earned in Reload and work the same as in Battle Royale or Zero Build. When you recover, you get a typical assault rifle and (only when you can build) 100 units of wood. When a player is eliminated, they drop Mini Shield Potions, Normal Ammo, Light Ammo, Shotgun Shells, and (only when you can build) 50 units of each building material. All this, in addition to its entire inventory!


RELOAD REWARDS


The Bright Start quests in Fortnite Recharge each grant 20,000 EXP. Complete 3 of them to unlock the Digital Dive trail, 6 for the Cube Pool covering, and 9 for the Banana Bath back accessory! With this, you will have enough to spend the summer cool.

 

If you win a Victory Royale, you'll get the Return Glider! It doesn't matter how many times you get knocked out, as long as you recover.
