A storm is brewing in Fortnite Festival!Metallica's James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo are the artists for Season 4 of Fortnite Festival.

Season 4 begins on June 13 with Update 30.10 and will end on August 16, 2024 at 6:00 a.m. (CEST). During this period, send attacks on your opponents to eliminate them from the Royal stage. Rock out to Metallica songs! Whether on the main stage or the improv stage. Unlock in-game rewards with the Season 4 Festival Pass.

Saturate your speakers with the bonus channel which unlocks additional rewards. Sit back and play Lars' TAMA drums with his Zildjian cymbals. You can also take the stage as James, Lars, Kirk and Robert with their outfits!

ROYAL SCENE: 16 PLAYERS - 1 WINNER

It's time to put your skills to the test on the Fortnite Festival Royale stage! Compete against your opponents in a 4-song program and be the last survivor when the game ends.

Each public match of the Royale stage begins with 16 players competing for the highest possible score on a random set of Fortnite Festival's featured music tracks. You play the same song as the other players, but you can choose your instrument and difficulty to get the best score possible. Owned music tracks cannot be chosen so as not to give an advantage to certain players. The 4 players with the lowest score will be eliminated at the end of each song. This continues until only one winner remains!

Don't panic if you come across a song that you haven't yet mastered. You can turn the tide by sending attacks at your opponents to slow down their score progress and interrupt their score streak! Attacks work the same as Overload on the main stage. You must first play the overload games correctly, then press the button to launch an attack and destabilize your opponents. Plus, you also increase your own score by sending an attack! The more Overload you have in stock, the longer the duration of your attack increases.

Play with precision, maintain your series of notes and launch attacks at key moments. On the Royale stage, the bass and mic score multipliers have been reduced from x6 to x4 in order to balance all instruments! Ranking in public games is based on the number of rounds you have survived and the number of players eliminated. This prevents you from facing the best player in the world in your first game.

You can play with up to 4 players in a private match on the Royale stage! And you choose the program! Players can then select music tracks from their music library, in addition to featured music tracks.

You'll find the Royal Stage in the Discover menu alongside 'Fortnite Festival Main Stage' and 'Fortnite Festival Improv Stage'. This new stage is a permanent experience that will not be removed after Season 4. On the Royal stage, only victory counts! (And have a good time, obviously.)

GET THE FESTIVAL PASS IN THE DEDICATED TAB

Show the world that you have rock in your skin! You'll find the Fortnite Festival seasonal quests directly in the lobby of one of the stages (main, improv or Royale), then in the Festival Pass tab in the menu at the top of the screen!

SEASON 4 FESTIVAL PASS

Be one with the rock, and the rock will reward you. Complete Fortnite Festival quests to earn Festival Points. These points allow you to progress faster in this season's Festival Pass.

Free Rewards Path

Take the time to eat after giving your all on stage. The Bleuvagratte guitar cures ailments and is waiting for you at the end of the free rewards path.

Once you're back in shape, practice on the three free reward track music tracks:

• Epic Games - The Night Porter (Winnage)
• Epic Games - Dreamer

By the way, starting with Update 30.10, you can set any music track you own as Lobby Music! Listen to some great music while your team gets ready!

Songs are a way to capture attention. Fire up the crowd with spectacular auras like the Ominous Flames aura. Fans will even be able to feel the heat you give off!

Get the crowd moving with the Roundhouse Kick emote. It's always time to throw a roundhouse kick.

Bonus lane 

How about owning some Metallica memorabilia? Thanks to the bonus track available for 1,800 V-bucks, you will unlock many Metallica cosmetic items.

However, there's nothing like stepping into the shoes of rock legends. Purchasing the bonus track instantly unlocks the Lars Ulrich outfit. You can unlock the Robert Trujillo, Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield outfits by progressing through the Bonus Path.

The show has only just begun! Settle in at Lars’ TAMA Drums. If you've never been able to master the double pedal phases and are more of a guitar player, then grab Kirk's Gibson Les Paul "Greeny" guitar to shred it on the solo of the song Enter Sandman.

In the bonus track you will find music One! There are no two like her.

Note this carefully! 🎵 Season 4 Festival Pass Free Track and Bonus Track rewards are not exclusive to the Pass. These items may become available in the Item Shop or otherwise at a later date.

MASTER OF PUPPETS

Don a battle outfit to take the Royale stage. James, Lars, Kirk and Robert transcend with their Master of Puppets outfits, available in the Item Shop until Season 4 ends.

Tear it up with Kirk Master of Puppets, be a desert warrior with James Master of Puppets, keep up with the beat with Robert Master of Puppets and shake the ground with Lars Master of Puppets.

SEASON 4 IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES

FESTIVAL IN THE LIVING ROOM

Music tracks you own can now be equipped as lounge music! Add them to your favorites, then set it to shuffle to play different music every time you return to the living room.

GAME IMPROVEMENTS

You now have more margin for error (“coyote time”) to strum a note with the pro lead instrument and pro bass. This also applies when you need to play the correct key. Players should now be rewarded when playing the scratch and play keys at the same time, even if one action occurs slightly before the other.

Other improvements :

FORTNITE FESTIVAL SEASON 4 CONTENT CREATION

Want to create content on YouTube for the release of Season 4? This season, content creators engaged in the program Support a Creator (SUC) will be able to publish their VODs on YouTube. These VODs may contain the selection of musical tracks below (and their improvisation loops) and can therefore be monetized. Your content can also contain the music tracks below as living room music!

Selection of music tracks:

The rotation of music tracks will be carried out every week on Thursdays at 4 p.m. (CEST). You should not receive deletion warnings during the music track selection period.
